Many launch monitors need a yearly plan to unlock course play or full data. These ones list no required subscription on the maker's or retailer's page:
| Monitor | Price | What's included | Sim software |
|---|---|---|---|
| Square Golf Home Edition | $699.99 | No Square subscription; course tokens (1,000 included) | GSPro; E6 Connect; Awesome Golf |
| FlightScope Mevo+ | $1,099 (sale; list $2,299) | No subscription; 12 E6 courses included; Pro Package optional | E6 Connect; GSPro; Awesome Golf; TGC 2019; Creative Golf 3D |
| FlightScope Mevo Gen2 | $1,299 | No subscription; 8 E6 courses included | E6 Connect; GSPro; Awesome Golf |
| ProTee VX | $6,500 | No subscription; ProTee Labs included | ProTee Labs; GSPro; E6 Connect; TGC 2019 (3rd-party licensed separately) |
| FlightScope X3C | $13,495 (sale; list $14,995) | 12 E6 courses included | E6 Connect |
The catch: third-party sim software
"No subscription" means the monitor itself doesn't charge you yearly. Simulator software like GSPro or E6 Connect is licensed separately; several of these include a bundle of E6 courses to start.
For comparison: monitors with a listed yearly fee
